Guided Scenic Kayak Trips

A guided scenic kayak trip is a perfect opportunity for guests to explore Lake Crescent, the “gem of the peninsula”. Guests will learn some of the secrets of the lake: its formation, unique ecology, phantom forest, wildlife, Spruce Railroad tunnels, legends, and history. Discover how guests first came to explore this wonderland. *Life jackets and instruction included.

Kayak, Canoes, & Paddleboard Rentals
Explore the beautiful glacier-carved Lake Crescent with a Kayak, Canoe, or Paddleboard rental from Lake Crescent Lodge. From your rental you can fish, picnic lunch or just drift with the breeze and bask in the warm sunshine. The lake is known for its crystal clear water surrounded by Mt. Storm King in the Olympic National Park.

This small convenience store, located on the shores of Lake Crescent on US Highway 101 in Olympic National Park, is a great stop for through-travelers (sandwiches, snacks and ice cream), visitors (souvenirs or kayak/canoe rentals) or campers (supplies and sundries). Our friendly staff can assist with finding items you may need for your visit as well as suggestions on fun area activities.

Log Cabin Resort
Operating Season:

Explore Lake Crescent by boat, kayak, or paddleboard. At Log Cabin, we offer rentals every day during operating season from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm & 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, weather permitting. All rental boats must be back no later than 4:00 pm. Life jackets provided. Minimum age is 18 years old for all rentals.
