Native Kayak Tour at Lake Quinault Lodge

The Native Kayak Tour at Lake Quinault Lodge invites you to explore the tranquil beauty of Lake Quinault while connecting with the rich cultural heritage of the Quinault Tribal Village. The tour is designed for experienced paddlers seeking a deeper connection to nature and culture.

Have your breakfast in our Roosevelt Dining Room at Lake Quinault Lodge then join us for our morning Daybreak Lake Tour. This is the perfect way to start your day in the Quinault Rainforest. The lake is normally very calm and we may see Bald Eagles and Osprey fishing, as well as River Otters during your tour. Most importantly you will learn a great deal about the area, including the vistas, the Quinault Rainforest, wildlife, fisheries, the creation of the National Parks and National Forests, tribal life, the explorers, and pioneers.
Evening Lake Tour

Our sunsets at Lake Quinault can be spectacular! After dinner relax aboard our comfortable tour boat and enjoy a cruise around beautiful Lake Quinault. We leave from the Lake Quinault Lodge dock and return about 1.5 hours later. We may see Bald Eagles catching the last fish of the day or River Otters playing near the shoreline. The Sunset Lake Tour is not heavy on narration, though we can certainly address your questions, and is intended to help you wind down your day in the Quinault Rainforest.
