The Olympic Peninsula weather varies from season to season and place to place. Visitors should come prepared for a wide range of conditions – rain gear and layered clothing are essential. Summers are fair and warm, with daily highs reaching 75 degrees Fahrenheit and overnight drops into the 40’s. Winter brings daytime highs in the 40’s and chilly temperature readings at night into the 20’s.

July, August, and September are the driest months on the Olympic Peninsula – while Spring and Fall bring the mot precipitation and mild temperatures between 35-65 degrees Fahrenheit. Snowfall at lower elevations seldom reach depths higher than 6-10 inches, but higher elevations receive much more. Hurricane Ridge averages 400 inches of snowfall each year!
