Bike the Great Outdoors
All you cycling enthusiasts… bring your bike and experience the Lake Quinault area's beauty and serenity. Try one of the many off-road trails or consider the 30-mile Rainforest Loop Drive, beginning and ending at Lake Quinault Lodge, which loops around Lake Quinault, up the Quinault River into the Olympic National Park, and back around the other side. See things you may not have noticed while driving.
Biking is a great way to experience the Quinault Rainforest. Along the trail, you can stop to view waterfalls and wildlife, take a walk, or a short hike… so definitely bring along your camera. You will see surrounding mountains, giant trees, and the Quinault River. Be on the lookout for Roosevelt Elk, Black Tail Deer, Cougars, Bald Eagles, Bobcats, and Black Bears.
