What to Bring
In this temperate rainforest climate you can expect moderate temperatures with moisture-laden air and plenty of rainfall during the rainy season (though summer days can be warm and sunny).
Attire at all our lodges is casual, so pack comfortable, seasonal clothing. As a rule, bring clothing suited for outdoor activities and walking or hiking, and rain gear:
- Waterproof jacket, hat and pants if possible
- Travel Umbrella
- Sturdy waterproof or water-resistant shoes or boots
- An insulating layer (long sleeved top) in cooler weather
- Warm hat, scarf and gloves in cooler weather
- Sunglasses and sunscreen
- Shorts, summer shirts, hat and shoes in warm weather
Depending on your choice of activities, you may also want to bring:
- Hiking shoes/boots and small backpack
- Swimwear and spa shoes if using the pool/sauna
- Camera
- Books or favorite board games
- Compact binoculars
