Rainforest Tours

Experience the Serene and Magical Rainforest

All three temperate rainforests located in the contiguous United States are on the Olympic Peninsula. We proudly offer Quinault Rainforest tours year-round, departing from Lake Quinault Lodge - the only guest accommodations directly inside the rainforest.

The Hoh Rainforest in Olympic National Park and Forest is one of the few temperate rainforests in the U.S., and also one of the largest. It is home to a National Park Service ranger station, from which backcountry trails extend deeper into the national park. A short, popular trail near the visitor center is the Hall of Mosses, which gives visitors a feel for the local ecosystem.

Rainforest Tours:

"Join us for the only tour of it`s kind anywhere on the Olympic Peninsula! "

Rain soaked mosses adorn the Big Leaf Maple trees and waterfalls cascade into pools where young salmon can be seen jumping into the air. The call of the loon can be heard echoing across Lake Quinault, mixing with the call of a distant Coyote and the bugling of the magnificent Roosevelt Elk. These rainforest tours will help you discover the beauty and tranquility of this magnificent wild resource. Your rainforest tour guide will take you to the best photo points in the area where you'll experience the magical rainforest on this three-hour tour.
