If you’ve never been to Lake Quinault Lodge, it’s helpful to have a plan to ensure you see and do it all. We’ve put together our favorite 2-day itinerary that celebrates the spirit of gracious hospitality offered by its humble predecessor.

Day of Arrival:

Step Back in Time and Unwind - Lake Quinault Lodge is situated by the side of a shimmering lake and offers cozy rooms available with fireplaces. Come as you are and rejuvenate in our blissful surroundings.

Dine at our famous Roosevelt Dining Room - Enjoy outstanding cuisine in the Roosevelt Dining Room, as well as panoramic views of the Lake and the mountains beyond. Dinner is served between 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM

Sunset Lake Tour - After dinner relax aboard our comfortable tour boat and enjoy a cruise around beautiful Lake Quinault. We leave at 7:00 from the dock and return about 1 ½ hours later. We may see Bald Eagles catching the last fish of the day or River Otters playing near the shoreline. Our sunsets are spectacular and this is a perfect way to end your day.

Take the only tour of its kind anywhere on the Olympic Peninsula - The Rainforest Tour will help you discover the beauty and tranquility of this magnificent wild resource. Your tour guide will take you to the best photo points in the area where you'll experience the magical rainforest on this three-hour tour.

A Feast for the Eyes - In the fall of 1937, President Franklin D. Roosevelt visited Lake Quinault Lodge during a fact-finding trip and enjoyed lunch in the later-named Roosevelt Dining Room. The food is to die for and the views are a true feast for the eyes.

The Best Way to See It All - Hiking is a natural way to explore the Lake Quinault area. Short or long, leisurely or invigorating, you'll find a great variety of hikes here. There are more than 15 well-maintained trails for you to explore, each offering a different perspective on this diverse ecosystem.

Pool/Sauna/Recreation Room - Take a dip in our indoor heated pool open 7 days per week year round from 10am-10pm and rejuvenate yourself.
